Directions to Our Practice
If you aren’t familiar with where we’re located in Rocky River, we can orient you based on some key starting points. If you’re coming to us from the direction of the Rocky River Public Library, get onto Hampton Rd heading south, then turn right onto Riverwood Ave. Take the first left onto Lakeview Ave and continue beyond the overpass, then turn right onto Hilliard Blvd. Turn left onto Wagar Rd, then right onto highway 20. We’ll be on your left, just after the Taco Bell. We look forward to seeing you!
If you’re coming from the direction of Bradstreet’s Landing Park, while it would take about the same amount of time if you headed east on highway 6, we’ll focus on the west route. Head west, then turn left onto Clague Rd. Keep an eye out for our practice coming up on your right. If you reach the Taco Bell, you’ve passed us!
Some Quick Local History
Rocky River might be a suburb of Cleveland, but its history goes back centuries. In the summer of 1764, British Colonel John Bradstreet embarked on a mission to address Pontiac’s Rebellion, leading a diverse force comprising over 2,000 soldiers, American volunteers, and Native Americans. While originally intended as a military operation, Bradstreet’s mission evolved to focus on prisoner retrieval, exploration, and peacemaking.
As the expedition encountered treacherous conditions on Lake Erie, seeking refuge from a storm, the fleet of 60 boats and nine canoes faced significant challenges. Despite the adversity, Bradstreet and his men found shelter at what is now Bradstreet’s Landing Park in Rocky River on October 18, 1764. Following a brief stay, the expedition returned to Fort Niagara after enduring considerable hardships during their journey. Despite rumors, only one life was lost during the endeavor, highlighting the resilience and determination of those involved.

With accessible bathrooms and ample parking, Rocky River Park offers a delightful retreat for anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature by the lake.
